Near misses

Guess this finally put this other strip into perspective, wouldn’t you think?

I had been wanting to do this strip for a while, but for whatever reason I wasn’t ready. I am now, I guess.

This reminded me how much a miss Juno’s fancy haircut…

Touching, though. Last panel sent some shivers down my spine.

  2. Kestrel says:

Very excellent page, Armando! And that last panel… wow.

  3. BKA says:

So Juno used to date Captain Hammer??

  4. Brok says:

I know that this has nothing to do with anything, but…I just want to say how much I admire how much your artwork has improved since you first started. Congrads!

  5. Canadian Otaku Gamer says:

D’awwwww… Poor Juno. Further proof that knowing the future can be a very personal kind of hell.

I’m assuming this guy was a member of her superhero team?

  6. Chico says:

    Poor Juno… :´-(

  7. James says:

Is it at all possible for a precog to forget anything?

I mean, if they should actually manage to forget something that’s happened to them before, wouldn’t it immediately be replaced in their ‘memory’ by the precognition of being re-exposed to that information?

I imagine it would make taking tests in school incredibly easy…

  8. [...] It would be easy to brush this off. A lot of people have lost loved ones. But what happens if you know they are going to die… and can’t do anything about it? Even worse… what if you know they are going to die, and when, before you even meet them and can do nothing to stop their fate? It reminds me of what I’ve read of C.S. Lewis’s grief when his wife Joy Gresham died in 1960, with Lewis marrying her after she’d been diagnosed with bone cancer, knowing their time together would be brief. With Juno, she didn’t even have the benefit of uncertainty; she knew she would meet him, fall in love, and then lose him without being able to protect him from …. [...]

  13. Too Old To Be Cool says:

Juno looks amazingly sexy in that shirt.

  14. Andrew says:

She really should go for gellato. Dark chocolate. No, I don’t think Bob could make gellato.

  15. OhHaiMe says:

Well now we know, but now I’m getting a feeling that the unforeseen event in the future is related to this guy.

  16. DarQuing says:

    *hugs Juno* :(

  17. Sylentknight says:

Something happening that she can’t foresee…hmm.

  18. Jiubei says:

yeah, precognition is one of the more frightening superpowers I think.

  19. Windwalker says:

    Shit. Just. Got. Real.

  20. Marcus says:

OH BOY, it’s time for a flashback story. :D

  21. Wolfen says:

Oh my god. I just realized it has already been almost two years since that last strip. Where does the time go?!

  22. James says:

    Oooooh… Backstory! Yay!

  23. Wolfen says:

    Dammit… I have something in my eye now… TT__TT
