Sushi belt

This may or may not be based on an actual piece of sushi that never got to me.

Oh beautiful Spider Roll. I glimpsed you from afar…

I’m more partial to the unagi. :d

She wants to try the third-eye sushi because it’s radioactive, and she’s hoping it will grant her super powers.

    It won’t. Calling that now.

  3. Andrew says:

Avoid the sushi place that put Hello Kitty’s face on the sushi.

I know the conveyor belt exists, but where do the chefs make the sushi? Can you see them? I always like sitting at the counter, watching the sushi chefs make the rolls. THAT’S entertainment!

Yep, Wolfen, conveyor belt sushi is a real thing. We even have them in Montreal. Though I’d rather get a bunch of pieces at once with the at the table all-you-can-eat service.

BTW, tried replying using “Reply”, bu tit kept timing out….:(

If Evil Chef went to hell, I think he’d be running the place in five minutes. Poor Satan never knew what hit him… :(

Also, conveyor belt sushi? Is that an actual thing?

I would reconsider eating sushi (in a good way) again if I knew it was going to come on a conveyor belt.

You’d be surprised what can come at a conveyor belt restaurant. And yes, Sushi is a possibility.

yup. conveyer belt sushi is totally a thing. Kai-ten-zushi (kai-ten meaning “to go around” obviously) I didn’t realize it existed outside of Japan. This makes me super happy to know. (though I doubt it’s only a dollar a tray for two large pieces like it is in Japan) Yum, now I wish I wasn’t too poor for sushi right now.

    Poor David.

Do as the regulars do, and place an order.

Also, good to see that Angela can be more reasonable when it comes to lunch. Nice of her not to slam poor David’s wallet with something much more expensive. Yet.
