I love the “Far Side” shout out in panel 2 with the Tyannosaurus Mex, enjoying the comic immensely!

    “Tyannosaurus Mex”?

    o___o velociraptor??

  4. Kevin Rubin says:

The dinosaur in the second panel made me think of the Ramones’ last album, “¡Adios Amigos!” with the sombrero-wearing dinosaurs on the cover.

  5. Stanton says:

Speaking of saber-toothed chihuahuas, there is a miniature sabertooth from Nebraska.

Of course the Far Side has the joke about the mighty Tyrannosaurus Mex ruling the land south of the border. I thought it was a nod to that…

is the Mexican raptor a Dr.McNinja reference?

  11. Baughbe says:

Ha! I Knew It! Dinos did wear sombreros! Now I can show those fools at the natural history museum that I was right. Maybe even get the charges dropped!

  12. Malcolm says:

Supervillains / heroes / random monsters know better than to jostle a lawyer. Think of the consequences.

  13. Wolfen says:

Words cannot express how cute Angie looks in the first panel. If I were a supervillain I’d prolly forget what I’m doing and hug her. (Is that a street shark behind her?) As for the mexican raptor, everyone knows his biggest rival was the puerto rican deinonychus. The saber-toothed chihuahua wouldn’t appear until the early plesitocene era, 120 million years later.

    • OhHaiMe says:

no every body knows that its rival was the extinct New Zealand …
just kidding it’s really the Japanese “Shurikenhitode” or “Throwing Starfish”
