Whoa. 100 strips.
Looking back, it’s a bit surreal. When I kicked off the comic a few months ago, my main fear was that I would run out of ideas 10 strips in (which was coincidentally my original buffer). That, and preaching to the vast void of the Internet with no one looking at the strip.
At this point I have so many stories I want to tell that I regret not having more time. It’s frustrating (in a good way) to know stuff that you don’t just yet, knowing the explanation for certain characters’ behavior or what makes them tick. There are characters in the drawing board (like David’s parents, The Messiah, his extended family, Doom Udder’s nemesis, THE JUDGE) that I just haven’t gotten around to writing into the strip. And I just can’t wait. And the fact that readership keeps growing, steadily getting more people coming back every Monday, Wednesday and Friday is only encouraging.
100 strips seems like kind of a paltry milestone compared to some of the folks out there in webcomics land — but I’ll catch up. I’m particularly proud of the fact that I haven’t missed an update and the strip has only been late once, by a few hours — something I will keep shooting for. I think webcomics live and die by their regularity, and that’s priority number one.
There won’t be an OMG 100-strip spectacular thing going on – I’ll save that for greater milestones (like my first movie deal). What I will do is that over the next few weeks (starting late March) I’ll be putting up some weekend comics – strips with a bit longer form, kinda like Sunday comics, to help with character development.
Because you can only milk getting hit with a metal boob in the face so many times..

that made me bust out laughing– and that last line was _priceless_.
I just realized… I think he kinda looks like a fraggle in that last panel. A perfect excuse to hit him in the face again!
Congratulations, and here’s to the next 100!
Congrats!! you keep making them, we’ll keep reading…
Sounds like a fair deal good sir. By the way, Porco strip coming your way soon.
At this moment, 2% of your total strips contain someone getting hit by a flying breast. Will you keep up that ratio in the next hundred?
It is now that I get the Mazinger Z reference!!! ANDROMEDA! LOL… Am I right?
I must say, very impressive not making some big, plot-interrupting 100th strip spectacular like some strips! Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks sir. Honestly, it’s all about keeping up the work and being constant — might do something a bit more celebratory at the 1-year mark.
Nice work! That is a landmark to be proud of!
Enhorabuena por las cien estripers.
Congratulations on 100 strips… and once more arranging David to have a bad day on a milestone date.
Yeah.. he eternally doesn’t get a break…
100 strips, and somehow you got flying boobs in it. Way to Go!
Hey, a suggestion… How about having her third eye reflect the mood of her normal eyes? Like for example, if her regular eyes are half shut, then maybe her third eye could be half shut too? It might look more natural that way. If a third eye ever can be considered natural, that is… Well anyway, it’s something to think about.
Thanks for the suggestion, sir! I’ve thought about it, and I’ve been doing studies for it, but I just don’t feel happy with how it looks just yet. I do have time to figure it out… Juno is in it for the long run.
i don’t think the third eye should ever shut, it is an All Seeing eye after all.it needs to always be open to eternally look into the future.
