The plot starts to thicken. There may or may not be a cat next week. Who shall be addressed as royalty.
I’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting a bit with the art – both with how I draw the characters themselves and the shading. I think I might have abused both resources in the first couple of strips I shaded (kinda like the kid who gets a new box of crayons and proceeds to deface an entire wall) but I think I’m taking a more subtle/elegant approach. Will rein back in also how windswept David’s hair has looked in the last couple of strips, and come up with a happy medium. But still, new strips!
I am excited about the next few strips — all of next week’s are fully finished and loaded, and I really like that storyline. I had a bit of a writing session last week and hammered out the next three storyarcs, and I can’t wait to finish drawing them. Hope you’ll join on that trip!
Also, I want to invite you to visit my friend Fern’s webcomic, 4Calendar Cafe, celebrating its first anniversary. Visit, poke around and read through his archive — his story is developing into something really interesting, and I think you will be as hooked as I am..

eyebrows of consternation!!! also, love the thing that had David’s eyes above-line.
I hope to see some LOLcats, hehe.
Lord Cattington the third?!?
Awwwwwwww
No cats unless they’re secretly disguised supervillains and come to an ignominious end.
@ Malcolm, Probably right there. Bob might have forgotten about that issue when he ‘hid’ the first two cats in his chest. I’m betting Lord Cattington Fuzzyboots the Third is in there right now. You know by the way Bob is talking he already has the cat.
Well, one does wonder what he did with that kitten from strip #5.
Heck, cats THINK they’re royalty. May as well go all the way.
I do wonder what happened to his two predecessors though. Spin cycle?
