@Malcolm, I thought you Brits ate geese or hams at Christmas, seeing as the turkey is an American bird (would have beat out the bald eagle for our national symbol if Ben Franklin had his way).

Then again, the way Jamie Oliver is infliciting food police nonsense over in the UK, I’m surprised you’re not being forced to eat tofu at gunpoint.
