Now that is a way to drum up customers. And the dinner looks very good.
If you really want to get better at drawing perspectives I have two words for you: Francis Ching. Look up any of his books on Amazon.com. You’ll probably want Interior Design Illustrated for most of your purposes, though your perspectives aren’t bad. Quite good actually. I can’t do them without a ruler and my Ching on hand. My freehand perspectives look like a SciFi time warp.
Thanks for the advice! I will definitely look that up. If it’s one area I need practice practice and more practice, it’s that one.
I like it. Although how is $ pronounced?
It’s a very nice looking diner. The patron silhouettes work well too.
LOVE the comic, Armando. Just discovered it via one of your ads on SuperFogeys. Well done. LOVE the art.
David – I’m honored. I’ve been following LoB for some months now, so I’m flattered that you like my comic as well
Time for Evil Chef to get his own slot in the New Readers character guide perhaps?
(Prediction for 2010 – EC becomes the main character, strip gets renamed, Bob is repurposed as a food blender and beef mincer. 0.o)
Ugh, don’t even remind me – I have so many to-do’s around the page that are not comic-related, I don’t even know where to start.
But no, I think that the next time you get to see the little dude is in about 5 weeks, which would make it after Christmas. Of course, I might just have to go ahead and use him in an emergency.
Not a bad idea for EC
lol I love this one, is great!!
Yes, looks good. I loathe doing backgrounds, so I’m impressed.
Great job on the diner’s interior though.
