Collateral Damage

Collateral Damage

I had received comments/questions along the lines of “Does Angela ever get work done? She seems to spend way too much time at the laundromat for a lawyer”.  So naturally I had to turn it into a comic.  I *am* writing a storyline that involves a trial, so it would be a heavy Angela-in-action focus.  I am working out the flow, since it would be a fair amount of strips (about 2 weeks’ worth, with the potential for a first ever “Sunday edition”) but should be fun.

So, not much work done over the weekend on the extras section, but it was for a good cause — I was redoing my studio (ok, a corner in my bedroom) to make it more comfortable to work in.  Two trips to Ikea later, I was on a furniture-and-wall-drilling spree, and everything looks great now.  As soon as the dust settles (literally and metaphorically) will snap some pictures and post them up.

And hey! This is officially strip #50! Yay Atomic Laundromat!.

Love the Seinfeld call-out. Also, good job on lampshading her not going to work.

Okay, so, hope we get some hot lawyering action soon!

Then, Angela will be the coolest character. Ever. Just please, please, please, tell me the legal system in the Atomic Laundromat universe is different from the “Marvel-She-Hulk” system of legal precedents.

That quote of Angela’s, isn’t that from King of Queens? I know I know that sentence from somewhere…

  4. Aww, the Pets convention!
