I’m sure that on All Hallows Eve, when spirits roam the Earth, a zombie version of J.R.R. Tolkien will chase me down and pelt me to death with candy corn. Delicious zombie candy corn.
This particular joke is one of the reasons I started doing Atomic Laundromat. I have amazing friends, and this particular, uhm, line of thought came forward after a few days on the road (in New York City) and a long, weird and fun conversation — and I just had to make a comic so I could use this idea. And then I thought, well, why don’t I have a comic strip? One thing led to another and I suddenly have a webcomic.
Now that this joke is done, I can retire and never do Atomic Laundromat again.
Ok, only kidding. Atomic Laundromat *will* be back on Monday. Have a safe Halloween, and save all the good candies for me. You can chuck the rest at people in Twilight costumes.
