Morning Power Hour

One of my guilty pleasure entails blowing off work and sit and watch morning shows.  The inane talk and desperate guests and segments make for some unintentional comedy all the time.  Throw superheroes into the mix, and it would be must-see TV.

I want to thank you for all your kind comments about last Monday’s strip (Angela’s Sorrow).  A lot of you were surprised but liked how Angela evolved (to quote somebody on email “so, she’s not a complete b*tch after all”) and developed as part of the strip.  Don’t foresee another strip like that in the near future, but your reactions were really encouraging.

Anyways, site is on autopilot for a couple of days — I’m in Mexico doing stuff for my day job.  I’m available on Twitter/Facebook, and comments are open.  So, behave and keep the discussion clean..

Huh. Apparently Evil Chef’s mental download doesn’t work over the internet. Shame…. :(

In other news, Evil Chef is probably my favorite character. I’m not exactly certain why, but I’d like to squeeze him until that big gorgeous brain of his pops and spews confettii and rainbows all over the place. Of course he’d probably fry my eyeballs with the power of his mind before I got close enough….

Reminds me of an inane mexican morning tv show segment I once saw, where… they just TALKED about how a particular dish was prepared, then pulled it out of a plastic container. Because, you know, they only had 90 seconds to explain how to cook.

Not bad. The duck turned out okay.
We’re not sure that it goes that well with the pickles though.
