Alongside some of my nerd obsessions, doing the Atomic Laundromat strip also reveals my love for musicals (Broadway and film).
At any rate, working the strip is proceeding at a good clip. I think that I have a buffer built out that will allow me to continue posting on the site, and I’ve been supported along the way by some people that have been doing webcomics longer than I have — I’ve received a lot of good pieces of feedback, encouragement and criticism to keep me going. One of my faves so far (Josh from joshcomic.com [SPANISH]) even makes a cameo in today’s strip.
Like or hate what I’m doing? Please leave a comment! They are really encouraging in figuring out what to do next or what to come up with in the strip..

oh those wacky nazis. It’s a thing, y’know.
keep it going! Armando!
Loving the comic so far! It’s where I get my laughs monday, wednesday and friday, hehe. I’m really enjoying all the characters… now you even have Josh in the background, hehe. Anyway, great ideas, I’m glad it’s working out so well.
Un Josh! He visto un Josh por ahí!
Bob = musical robot = love <3 Bless his positronic soul…
Pleeeease tell me he sings “I am 16 going on 17″ at some point!!! Will we see an “I feel pretty scene” from West Side Story?! A Jets v.s. Sharks fight/dance sequence?!?
I swear I already commented here.. huh.
Well, thanx for the cameo, dunno where I am going in such a hurry, and what am I holding in my hand, maybe, that can be solved in another cameo?
Yes, I am shameless, I know.
Just a little bit shameless but it’s ok — it will be revealed in due time. You actually show up in a guest strip I’m preparing for Zirta. Dunno if you’ll like your cameo THERE though… it involves My Little Pony…
RE: COMMENTS. OR, “Here’s my 20 mexican cents”
LikeLikeLike. Bob has been part of the background for a while now, but then again, it is what a laundromat robot is bound to be from time to time. The characters introduced so far have been very engaging, with perhaps the only criticism is that many secondaries/cameos have been introduced too fast. However, there is lot of, hmm, I’m not sure if expectation or potential is the correct word. Angela and David are a mismatch, though in a good way. which calls for some interesting adventures down the line. I do look forward to Angela showing off her lawyering skills. And with the talented writer/artist behind, I am sure we are in for quite a ride.
Kudos, and Keep it up!
Thanks! Characters *have* been coming in fast and furious. For the next month or so, it’s only Bob/Angela/David (and an occasional return of the evil Chef), so you will see some more of the character development. It is a problem when the strip only updates three times a week — sometimes there seems to be a big gap between some characters showing up. Bob will be kind of AWOL after Wednesday for a couple of weeks, but then it’s a Bob-centric sequence.
Bob is one awesome robot.
I knew dryers were evil! If only I had listened to my socks.
